About the Role

We are seeking a talented Network Engineer Level 1 to join our team and help manage our company's network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will work closely with the IT team to design, implement, and maintain our network systems, ensuring the highest level of performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and troubleshoot issues.

• Configure and maintain network security, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new network systems and technologies.

• Assist with the deployment and maintenance of wireless networks.

• Perform network backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

• Monitor network usage and traffic patterns to optimize performance and bandwidth usage.

• Provide end-user support and training as needed.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Working Conditions:

The Network Engineer will work in an office environment, and may occasionally be required to work outside of regular business hours to perform network maintenance and upgrades. The position may require some travel to remote offices or data centers.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Network Engineering or related field.

  • Knowledge of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • Understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Professional certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are a plus.
